Since the launch of the HiDNS free domain system, thousands of users have registered and used our service. We sincerely appreciate your trust and are committed to ensuring the stable operation of our domain resolution system while preventing abuse.

However, last month, we discovered that some users were registering multiple accounts to hoard domains. At the same time, we also found instances of abuse of HiDNS free domains. We took decisive measures to suspend the abused subdomains and delete the associated accounts. Additionally, we removed some idle domains. For these reasons, we have suspended the domain application channel using coupons.

During this time, we have received many messages from users asking how to register a HiDNS free domain. The announcement is as follows:

1. Free applications are now subject to manual review.
2. We encourage using domains for blogs/other web services and applying for SSL certificates for the domains.
3. After submitting a domain application, please send a ticket to the administrators to inform them of the domain's intended use. Our team will review and activate domains used for “blogs/other web services” within 24 hours.
4. Within 7 days of domain activation, you must bind the applied domain to your blog/other web service. Domains that are not actively used will be deleted again.
5. To prevent resource waste, each person is limited to applying for one domain. Please do not register multiple accounts. If linked accounts are found, all of them will be deleted. If you need multiple domains, please contact our staff via a ticket. If the request is reasonable, we may provide additional domains.
6. Domains successfully bound to “blogs/other web services” and with SSL certificates applied will be set as permanently free domains by our team, valid until 2099-12-31 23:59:59. As long as the domain is not abused, such as being used for spam or phishing websites, it will remain free forever.
7. For existing users, if you have successfully bound the applied domain name to your Blog and applied for an SSL certificate, please contact us via a support ticket to inform us of the domain usage. After verification by our team, the domain can be set as a permanently free domain. As long as the domain is not abused, such as being used for spam or phishing sites, it will remain free forever.
